    Hey, Goodmorning my Friends!!!

I've been MIA for awhile, but I've been around to read the blogs and my messages. I had a wonderful ritual on Friday. I put together a basket of veggies out of my garden and picked a bowl of mulberries for the Sabbat ritual and alter. Afterwards I gave the Goddess and God those offerings. They were very pleased I know. I hope ya'll had a wonderful Sabbat also. They have blessed my little garden so much. My tomatoes plants are so huge that even three stakes couldn't hold them up. I'll have large tomatoes coming out of my butt this year, lol. I'm sure the food prices will sky rocket this winter so I'm going to put up as many tomatoes as I can. I picked a mess of pole beans yesterday and cooked them up with garden fresh red potatoes yesterday... my peppers, wow, I've been picking them at least twice a week. My cucumbers are coming out very nice, I used a staking method with them and they are growing huge that way....

I've been dealing with some spiritual things and working a lot of mojo... I cleansed my home on Saturday and done some other things and now my home is sealed tight as a barrel... I've had the most serene and peaceful weekend ever; after the cleansing and protecting.. Ahhh to be a witch... I just love my life, my path and to know that I can create what ever it is that I need. I've been doing some fire scrying with a candle, but alas I'm not quite there yet. I have my best results with bon fires and its' embers. I just can't wait until Samhain in which I shall fire scry then with my bon fire. I've purchased quite a few books and doing a lot of reading. I have gotten Dorothy Morrison in which I've read in 3 days (I just love her, the way that she writes makes the reading most enjoyable), a few of Scott Cunningham's books, Christopher Penzack (sp.?), Francis Mevele (sp.?) and I got the Green Mile hardback addition. I'm reading that one now and I just love this book!!

My granddaughter Jozalyn is growing like a weed!! She's over 8 lbs. now and gaining!! She is doing remarkably well for a preemie.. I swear that she can turn over on her side and turn herself around in her bassinette, I wouldn't have believed it but I saw her do it with my own eyes.. I've not heard of a baby not even two months old doing that.... she's such a little trooper and I'm in love with this little girl!!!  I got her a bib that says if mom says no, just ask grandma.. hehehehe, I know that's right!!!! What happens at grandma's stays at grandma's..... lol....

I'll be another year older on the 13th... it use to bother me to get older, but not anymore.. Hell I don't look my age at all... I'm enjoying being a Crone!!!! Well any who, I'll be getting my vacation days back on the 10th, so I'm taking my birthday and a few other days off and I simply can't wait... having the house to myself during the day to do what ever!!! The 16th I'm taking my oldest grandson to go see Tecumseh, it's an outdoor play about the Indians and soldiers... we'll get a back stage pass to see the guns, how they do make up and other things, then tour through the gift shop and museum and a huge buffet dinner... I just can't wait. I'm hoping to purchase some turquoise jewelry for a birthday gift... and of course buy something for my grandson... The play is in Chillicothe Ohio. I've wanted to see this play for years now, and I finally get to go...

Well gots to scoot now, so I'll see ya'll on the flip flop...

    Luv and Blessings,

So glad the baby is thriving! My garden didn't fare so well. Our tomato plants were burned by the summer sun and we'll be luck to get much out off anything else this year. Aug. 13 is your bday? How cool! I think that's the day of the year to honor Hecate. I'll have to double check tho...Have a wonderful day with your grandson as well as a blessed and magickal week!

Sounds like you've had a pretty good week! I'm so glad.

Please explain to me what you are doing with your cucumbers because mine are pathetic. Some are fairly decent size, still too small. But I checked yesterday and there was one that looked like a tiny gourd. :-S I don't know what is going on with them this year. My tomatos are bigger, but still a little sad compared to other home-grown ones I've seen.

    Love,
    Beth

I really enjoyed reading your Blog today, thank you for sharing a snapsot of your life... I epecially enjoyed the part about your garden. I'm an avid gardener, and me and my partner have dreams of moving either back to Ohio, where he is from (Athens area), or North Carolina (Asheville area), in a few years. It sounds to me that growing a garden in Ohio is much easier than here in Tucson.(and I have no doubt of that actually! LOL) I'm so interested! What all do you grow? Thank you for your time, and bright blessings to you! -AG
